This project was part of a personal creative exercise where I developed a complete brand identity for a planned Cannabis Social Club in Dortmund.
It offfered an exciting opportunity to explore branding within a highly regulated market.
Challenge
The goal was to build a brand that blurs the lines between a social club and a high-quality restaurant experience.
Taste and enjoyment take the stage - not consumption for its own sake.
Inspired by premium gastronomy, everything spins around good ingredients, craftsmanship and a high appreciation of flavor. The club becomes a place where people meet to explore and discover good flavors and share meaningful moments.
Concept
Instead of leaning into outdated cannabis clichés, the brand embraces:
- Craftsmanship over consumption
- Quality ingredients over stereotypes
- Community and culture
The design language expresses this mindset through:
- A typography that blurs simplicity with sophistication
- A warm, curated atmosphere - inspired by food & hospitality branding
- Visual cues of community, nature, and refined flavor experiences
